चाय

दोपहर  3 बजते  ही 

जब आँखें बंद होती जायें 

नज़रें ढूंढें उस भैया को 

जो  रोज़ लेकर आये  चाय 

कभी माँ के हाथ की बनी हुई 

तो कभी ढ़ाबे वाली , सोंधी खुशबू लिए 

वो दोस्तों की महफ़िल की default starter जैसे 

इस चाय ने न जाने कितने रिश्ते बनाए 

चाय एक , गुण अनेक 

और आए भी भिन्न -भिन्न स्वादों में 

काली पीली कड़क अदरकी 

एक चुस्की और ले आए तरावट खयालों में 

कुछ आदत सी बन जाती है इसकी 

अख़बार संग यह ना हो तो दिन बेकार 

कुछ लोग हिसाब नहीं रखते दिनभर का 

पानी की तरह पी जाते 10-12 बार 

Exam हो  या Deadline

सबसे भरोसेमंद दोस्त है चाय 

किसी भी समय पी सकते हैं इसे 

तो कोई कैसे इसे न अपनाये 

एक बुनियादी ज़रूरत बन चुकी है अब तक 

जैसे मकान , कपड़ा और रोटी 

पर कुछ लोग पसंद नहीं करते इसे 

शायद उनको चाय हज़म नहीं होती 

प्यार बढ़ाती है चाय 

रंग निखारती है चाय 

वो ट्रेन की खिड़की पर बैठ कर 

सफ़र सुहाना बनाती है चाय 

कॉफ़ी की बड़ी बहन है यह ,

ग़रीब हो या अमीर, सबको एक स्वाद दिलवाए 

कहीं Taj में 500/- की मिले 

तो कहीं 2 रुपये की कटिंग में काम कर जाए 

कहीं माँ की ममता का एहसास लिए हो 

तो कहीं प्रियवर का प्यार इसमें उमड़ आए 

रातभर की बकर हो , या हो ऑफिस का काम 

सारी स्फूर्ति इसी से आए 

अगर खत्म हो गयी हो आपके घर 

तो आज पड़ोसी के घर जाएँ 

और अगर नहीं पी है आज तक 

तो इसी क्षण श्री गणेश हो जाए 

मन से अपनायें , विचारों में शुद्धि लाएं 

Happiness को Hello-Hi, Sadness को Bye-Bye

इतना सोचोगे तो ठंडी हो जाएगी मेरे भाय

76 years back, we sent back Simon for good

But forgot to check alerts it sends, which no one ever understood ;)

With Seller Analytics we want to change the game,

Fredrick, Ramanujam and blah blah, we fought the most over product name

Some projects have their own beautiful course (pun intended)

One man army enough for the mighty Salesforce

A "Partner" in need, is a partner indeed

All it takes is some Old Monk and some nasty weed :P

And to all the slaves, there is always a Master

Where we all bow down to API changes, ever dynamic and faster

Its delightful to watch Interstellar and its concept of wormhole

But I am furious to imagine what if it leads to Admin console

A head scratching bug you try to fix, injecting stream of yawns

Forget the fix, log a backlog bug, and lets run those saviour crons

Its soon to comment on much awaited mobile app

All it takes is some scroll, clicks and swap

A great team is one, where people help out each other (like ours)

Where people learn through peers, making experience smoother

I am thankful to all, and forgive if I missed anyone's work

I don't know all the tracks yet, and thats no reason to call me a jerk :P

And if you think what all went in my inspiration (for writing this)

न रहा अहंकार ना अहंकारी
थी उसकी मति गयी मारी
यूं तो था वो शिव का पुजारी
पर उठा ले आया वो एक अबला नारी

तो आज भी क्या अलग काल है
इन राजनीतिज्ञों के बीच हमारा भी तो वही हाल है
पर अब भगवान की गुहार बेकार है
क्यूंकि धर्म पर भी तो इन लोभियों का अधिकार है

जैसा हर युग में होता है इधर भी होगा
जब हर इन्सान पहनेगा बुद्धिमत्ता और सत्य का चोगा
अब इन कुरीतियों और भ्रश्तात्माओं का क्या काम है
जो सच की राह पर चल पड़ा वही श्री राम है

Diwali - 2013

रंग बिरंगी रोशनी से सजेगी दुनिया सारी
उज्जवल चंचल चकाचौंध में मगन होने की है बारी

फिर वही दीपावली दहलीज़ पर खड़ी है
वह भी जाने है , इंसानियत थोड़ी गिर पड़ी है

आतिशबाजी चूक ना जाए इसके होते हैं जतन
पर भिक्षु को एक रोटी देने में क्यूँ होता है इतना विचार और मंथन

नए कपड़े और लज़ीज़ पकवान , दोस्तों के संग शाम -ए -आलीशान
पर यह न सोचा कि यतीमघरों और वृद्धाश्रम में भी बसती है जान

दुर्गा,सरस्वती आदि को पूजते हैं सभी ,पूजना भी चाहिए
पर हे इंसान ,अपने हृदय में भी थोड़ी आत्मीयता तो लाइए

श्रद्धा या उमंग का अनादर करना मेरा मकसद नहीं
पहल करनी ज़रुरी है , फिर वो चाहे द्रष्टिकोण से ही सही

मन पावन करो , कर्म पूरा करो
इस दीपावली पर कुछ अच्छा प्रण करो

इंसान , तू अपने विचार और व्यवहार से ही जाना जाएगा
वह दिन दूर नहीं जब तुझे खुद का कर्त्तव्य समझ में आएगा

बढ़ता चल आगे, और रास्ते को ही मंजिल बना ले
एक बार पलट और देख ,तू कभी था ही नहीं अकेले .

जब विचार हों अनेक और मनुष्य थोड़ा दिशाहीन होता है
तब ऐसा ही कुछ लेखन मेरे मानस पर अंकित हो आता है

Every day is beautiful
You need to see it that way
Even when life pull you down, and nobody around

Has to be jittery and bumpy sometimes
It all comes to your faith in yourself
And how you make your acts profound and sublime

To the teachers

They taught me lessons apart from those in textbooks,
Corrected me when I was wrong, and when right, they applauded too,
Time passed, teachers changed, teachings prevailed, I moved ahead
But still some good character of mine will always be derived from you.

Parents are the best :)

With tonnes of love poured in it,
I eat my mom-made food,
I eat, she watches, and we smile,
It might sound okay, but the moment is more than just good.

After hard work of day long job,
My dad comes back to home with an energy,
To meet me, to have tea, and dine together,
and what goes missing is the usual lethargy.

This is my pattern during my home visits,
Sometimes frequent sometimes late,
I wish I could have these moments daily,
Without making my parents need to wait.

A supportive family makes an individual,
And makes one grow and prosper in spite all odd,
One nourishes you, the other protects you,
For me, these are the only two known GOD
